Wilshire ESL program registered hundreds of students in English as a Second Language and Citizenship classes during the first week of the Fall Semester, 2009.
Students and teachers are enthusiastic about starting afresh and working together to learn English and become more successful.
Technology is more available to our teachers, as each class is now equipped with a desktop, a projector, and an ELMO projection device, allowing teachers to share materials with students on the projection screen without having to make photocopies.
The ESL Computer Lab evening Instructional Assistant, Violeta A. is quite positive about the student enrollment turnout.
