Students, it’s not too early to think about the career you’d like to have after learning and completing English as a Second language courses here at Wilshire ESL Center, in beautiful Fullerton, California.  It takes preparation, work, and determination to get where you want to go in life.
Here are some helpful resources to help you become more informed in your quest in following a career that you’re passionate about.

BLS K-12 Career Information organizes jobs by the interests English as a Second Language students  have.  Your first step is to identify what subjects you’re really interested in now:
- Reading
- Law
- Building and Fixing Things
- Math
- Science
- Music and Arts
- Sports
- Helping People
- Managing Money
- Social Studies
- Nature
- Computers
Once you narrow the list to 2-3 areas, <a http://www.bls.gov/k12/index.htm to do some research on your own and find out about individual careers that include helpful information like what the job is like, how to get ready for it, how much it pays, how many are currently employed, how many will be employed in the future, and other careers that are similar.
